Designed as an addition to the six floor MoMA, this seventy-five floor tower proposes a radical new way of organizing program. By concentrating on part to whole relationships, a gradual change in the surface pattern emerges, and internal organization is then based on those shifting exterior behaviors. Finally, the coloration on the exterior changes due to perspective as you approach the tower, but from far the smaller details are lost causing the coloration to read as bands. The ability of the tower to retain differentiation from a distance allows it to stand out against the New York skyline.
