Mohawk | Daltile Toronto Showroom
Toronto, ON | Adaptive Reuse, Commercial, Showroom
McLennan Design transformed a 5,000 sf Toronto showroom into a benchmark for regenerative commercial interiors. Through adaptive reuse, material transparency, and biophilic design, the project achieved Living Building Challenge Materials Petal and WELL Building Certification, reusing salvaged materials, selecting 100% Red-List-free finishes, and incorporating moss walls, living planters, and daylighting. The space demonstrates that even urban leased interiors can be beautiful, high-performance, and regenerative, balancing ecological responsibility, human health, and operational excellence.
