A property investment fund appointed RBA to examine improvement measures such as external insulation, roof and cellar insulation, window replacement, provision of lifts and balconies and roof conversion plans for a large historical apartment complex with a net lettable area of 3,800 m².
The property in question was built around 1902 and consists of a front house and two long side wings with a transverse rear house to the rear of the site. The courtyard is planted with trees and some shrubberies. There is a garden area to the rearmost part of the site beyond the rear house.
RBA surveyed the property, held talks with the local authority and provided an initial evaluation of the measures proposed with plans, costs and analysis to aid the decision to proceed.
