The husband and wife relocated from California and purchased an older traditional style home in a well established neighborhood on the east coast in North Carolina. They loved the sun and open space of California and decided to renovate their older style home to open up the floor plan to host social gatherings. The renovated design included changes to the kitchen, dining, living area, upper balcony, pergolas, patio, and back yard. Reddrick Architecture created alternative designs to help envision the new modern indoors spaces and the outdoor areas. The kitchen was remodeled to open into the dining and living area with panoramic views to a new vanity pool and pool house as a focal point. A new southern faced glass wall was featured to allow natural light into the living areas. A modern fire place anchored the living area.
