Located in one of the most expensive areas in Bangkok, a key criteria of the brief was to make an efficient use of the limited space and to leave the site with as much green area as possible.
This building is also eco-friendly in terms of zoning, orientation, insulation. All circulation areas and hallways were designed to make use of natural ventilation and lighting. Other areas are fully enclosed to allow air conditioning to operate effectively. As a way to decrease unnecessary heat gain as well as avoiding extra cost for glazing, most of the façade area is solid. The arrangement of voids and windows was designed to create the impression of a bas-relief pattern and helps to liven up the building and add character.
