A very inspiring location requires a very inspiring design of the house "Modern Chalet". Falling terrain (very pronounced steep terrain configuration), magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, as well as the good position of the future house, gave exceptional parameters that "Modern Chalet" must be extremely innovative to best meet the challenges of the location . The house is facing south, in order to get the most out of the sun. Following the configuration of the terrain, the entire building was formed as an envelope, where the roof overlaps and sinks into the facade, forming part of it. Wood as the main motif on the facade predominates, making the building warmer and more pleasant to stay. As we descend, the house "opens" to a magnificent view and thus we get the entire lower part of the house in glass, which should break the "fullness of the house" and "establish" the game full-empty or in this case wood-glass. The transparent facade in the lower part of the house is also an invitation to family members to go out into the yard (terrace) on the south side of the house where the main motif is the SWIMMING POOL (which opens and closes if necessary). The edge of the pool at the opposite end of the terrace is lost in view of the surrounding mountains, evoking a sense of illusion like a body of water merging with the sky. As for the interior of the house, it is designed in a very modern way, with the use of brut concrete and a lighter tone of oak wood. The rooms are divided into floors, on the entrance level (ground floor), next to the garage and entrance hall there is a living room and dining room with kitchen, which are separated by a level of two steps. While on the lower, lower floor there are 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The bedrooms are designed to have prefabricated walls between them, so that in the future, 4 smaller rooms can be turned into 2 large rooms when the children grow up and leave their home. "Modern Chalet" is a house that should evoke a feeling of home, but also imagination, the border between what is real and what is not, leaving space for family members who will live the opportunity to choose the way they will experience their home.
