Studio VARA transformed an 1894 San Francisco Victorian into a minimalist, gallery-inspired home. While preserving the historic Queen Anne "veil," the team reimagined the interior as a free-flowing space. The design juxtaposes period artifacts with modern insertions like sculptural "orb" countertops and a sinuous grand staircase. By removing low ceilings and adding expansive picture windows, the renovation converted a cramped layout into a light-filled home that celebrates stunning San Francisco views.
