Contemporary yet timeless, Modena Lamp has a strong high-tech appeal while it still retains those qualities that transform an object of design into an object of affection. The dichotomy is immediately evident in the materials’ match: Modena always comes in a metal natural finish paired with a graphic color. The diffuser generates a wide light cone, which provides downward diffused lighting. Its lateral puncturing lets enough light filter through to soften the transition between shade and brightness, drawing a delicate weft on the metal surface that aesthetically qualifies the setting.
Modena exists in three versions: pendant, floor, and wall lamp. The base and diffuser support are painted aluminum sheet, while the diffuser is painted frosted polycarbonate with plastic resin details. The family’s essence is flexibility. The diffuser rotates 30°-degrees so that it can be aimed in different directions. In the floor and wall version, the diffuser rotates also around its support. The great dynamism makes for an extremely versatile lamp, ideal for a residential environment but also public venues of significant dimensions, where the juxtaposition of the same element with subtle differences in orientation produces a sophisticated rhythmic effect.
