Concept:
The structure consists of 4+1 (A, B, C, D and additional E) units. The 5th unit (space) is formed by combining the first
four cells (see scheme #1). Units are
of the equal sizes with the inner parameters 2x2x2 meter. Each of the four
units has sledges at the bottom. The structure is towable and has 2
constructional positions. The first position is for moving (see elevation A – B – C – D) and the
second one is static position, ready for use and operating (see plan). Connection of 4 independent cells (first position) increases the mobility
of the structure (see scheme #2).
While the second position guarantees stability by constructing the cells
perpendicular to each other with their sledges (see scheme #3). Joints of the cells are made with special belts (see detail #8 for position 1 and detail #6
for the second position). For isolation are used special toothed-rubber
lines on the perimeter of the joint (see
detail #7). The 5th cell
is covered with the air bag roof (see
detail #5).
The first unit (A)
is used for the entrance, kitchen, bathroom and WC. The other three (B, C, and D) units are served as working
and resting spaces. The 5th unit can be used for working, resting,
meeting, dinning and any other activities.
The unit A outside has equipment bags (see detail #2), steel ladder to access the roof (see elevation D – A – B), ventilation
system (see detail #4), outer light
source and outdoor aerial (see detail #1).
It is also equipped with snow melting
system and grey water recycling. B, C, D cells are supplied with
personal equipment (see detail #3)
and solar systems with the total area 9 m2. All the units have
windows for natural light source.
The
shell of the structure consists of different materials (see detail #. The outer
layer is 2mm lightweight aluminum sheet. Then comes 40x138mm wooden structure
with thermal isolation, 5mm composite wooden sheet, vapor sealing, thermal
insulation foil roll and 5mm fabric roll. Total width of this composite wall is
150mm. Total mass of the structure is under 1400 kg.
