The mixed-use residential and commercial complex in central Zolochiv combines modern living, urban vibrancy, and everyday convenience. The project aims to create a lively subcenter uniting residential, commercial, and public functions while respecting the historic urban context.
The architecture blends contemporary forms with the city’s parcel structure, using materials that integrate naturally. Low building heights, underground parking, and articulated façades give an intimate character, while active ground-floor commercial spaces create a dynamic urban environment. A cozy inner courtyard offers landscaping and recreational zones for residents.
The design divides the complex into two functional volumes: a shopping center with a glass entrance and residential sections with warm materials. The façade emphasizes functional diversity, echoing historic rhythms while adding modern accents, bay windows, and balconies.
Pedestrian access is ensured via pathways and gentle terrain changes, and transport infrastructure includes two access roads and temporary parking, reducing traffic in central streets. Landscaping along façades and within the courtyard enhances both comfort and visual appeal.
