Mitt Bad
Mitt Bad ("my bath" in Norwegian) is a student project from my first semester as a Master i Arkitektur programme in 2008. The site is my grandmother's house, which is located in the piece of land where she was born. Across the years, this site has welcomed the family children: my mother's generation, some of the people in mine, and probably also some children from the following generation will use the garden as a playground.I propose and intervention based on water: a rainwater collector to be used for washing clothes and dishes (self-reliance is always handy in rural areas), along with a water-inspired playground for the children. It is worth mentioning that temperatures in Miramar are between 25 and 30°C all year long.
