Miramar Village is a mixed-use redevelopment of White Rock’s Hillcrest Mall and adjoining properties. Located in the heart of the community at the crossroads of Johnston Road, Russell Avenue and Thrift Avenue, the project is the centre piece and focal point of the new town centre being created in White Rock, BC.
This mixed-use project includes several key components: a central public plaza, three and four storey podiums along the streetscape with retail and offices on the lower levels and residential units on the upper levels, a civic centre, and four residential high-rise towers that range in height between 17 and 22 storeys with over 400 residential units.
The massing configuration of the four high-rise buildings and the lower podium block is carefully designed to create a large oval-shaped public space at the centre of the development. The central public plaza contains a mix of retail shops, permanent vendor kiosks, as well as an amphitheater, galleria and fountain. The plaza will support a variety of seasonal activities such as open-air markets and performance events.
