Minute Media is a technology and digital content company that owns their own video platform, Voltax, which empowers brands and creators in their creation and distribution of online video content. Minute Media is a playful, creative company that works with a lot of other creatives in the digital content space, so it makes sense that Switchup designed a young, hip, and open office space that highlights company quirks as well as traditionally well-received office functionality.
Minute Media’s front entry welcomes employees, clients, and visitors to a warm, clean, and primarily minimally dressed space. With clean walls and neutral finishes, the creativity and personality of the company itself can shine in this space.
While much of the Minute Media space exudes energy of young adult professionals, it doesn’t overlook the playful nature of the business. Quirky wall décor gives these collaborative spaces a boost of youth in an otherwise clean space. Within the collaborative meeting pods, employees have a choice of seating modality, from casual lounges to more formal meeting tables.
The Minute Media kitchen and dining space is a great place for employees to meet, eat, and ideate for the next big thing in digital content publishing. This high-ceilinged room is brought to lower scale with warm wood panels hung from above and cozy drop lighting. A large bar, high top window seating, and café tables and chairs make for an area that can be moved and molded to fit each employee’s own preferences. It’s even a great place for an impromptu casual meeting. Warm colorful elements like throw pillows on the sofa and a color blocked rug make the space even more comfortable.
Minute Media is proud of its in house content brands, so what better way to show it than to shout it out loud on the walls? This lounge space adjacent the kitchen features funky, geometric sofa seating and a company branded arcade game for midday stress relief.
