The apartment
is a small cell of 30m2 where the task was to organize a living studio with office for a
single male person.

The main living space was to be kept as big as
possible. Therefore all the services such as office, kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom,
working surface and cupboards are organized in small cells around this space.

These cells
are placed behind an envelope – sliding door panels.

When the
cells open they connect with the main space as a continuous space.
The image is seen in the daylight and creates an opaque solid wall effect.. In
the evening the services behind light through the skin of the envelope – create
a different ambient of bright light boxes. The most
important task was to create a living room as big as possible and requires all additional
spaces -: “hall“, kitchen, working, bathroom,
bedroom, his office (audio & video room). …..out of 30 square meters. The space is designed as central space surrounded by all services (The project uses all possibilities
to place all required rooms, to reduce them to minimum-and in the same time
give them maximal effort.The result is
central living areas and surrounded service boxes with perspex-sliding panels covered
with prints of semi-transparent folio. During day-time the panels look like
solid wall-totally opaque…the night give completely inverted ambient with bright
light boxes which creates city-lights-night atmosphere.
