Milwaukee, a company that had adapted to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, embarked on a transformative office project. Their goal was to create a workspace that not only resonated with their brand identity but also met the evolving demands of their industry. With a focus on branding, environmental impact, and cutting-edge technology, the project aimed to deliver a functional and dynamic space.
Collaborating closely with our client and interior design partner PTID, we tackled various challenges head-on. Functionality took center stage in the design process, resulting in multiple meeting rooms and spacious communal areas to enhance collaboration and workflow. The material selection deliberately reflected the brand’s ideology of “Nothing But Heavy Duty TM,” featuring textured and perforated metals, striking marble, plywood, and polished concrete. These materials provided a deliberate contrast to the iconic Milwaukee red, which also played a prominent role in the design.
Our collaborative approach allowed us to seamlessly integrate custom joinery pieces with cutting-edge technology, creating a modern and innovative workspace. Thoughtfully crafted breakout areas featured a harmonious blend of stone and abundant natural light, fostering an inviting and inspiring environment.
Upgraded lighting and mechanical elements not only improved efficiency but also contributed to positive environmental impact. By minimizing demolition and repurposing existing wall panels, glazing, and flooring, we aligned with the project’s sustainability ethos, reducing landfill waste.
Overall, our thoughtful interior design emphasizes brand presence, sustainability, and technology integration, elevating the workspace aesthetic while promoting collaboration among employees.
