A proposal for three residential units in the Perth suburb of Mt Hawthorn. Due to the spatial, site and budgetary challenges associated with the build, the scheme sees the units take the form of a unified element, as opposed to three different residences. Subtle cantilevers and a distinct change in material palette create an engaging street elevation that differs greatly from similar housing developments in the area. The division between the units is blurred, as intimate courtyards and considered buffer zones assist in ensuring individual privacy, whilst giving the guise of a single built form.
