Positioned to capitalize on the site’s expansive views from atop a small mesa, the Milender White Construction Offices are a resounding affirmation of the possibilities of affordable construction. Utilizing tilt up concrete construction techniques, this 15,000 square foot office building incorporates energy efficient design techniques such as low maintenance building materials and extensive use of glazing which will reduce operational cost while also increasing user comfort and pride of place.
Programmatic requirements by the owner/tenant sought to increase user connections with exterior spaces based on the client’s belief that employees are more productive when they feel unconfined in their work environment. To this end the building was configured on two levels, allowing the majority of the offices to be positioned along exterior walls, introducing daylight into every work space.
