Located in Białystok, Poland, the Między Zębami bistro is one of the few digitaly designed polish interior productions. Clients vision was a unique bistro considering the cuousine, climax and design.
Despite a very low budget this design approach allowed to meet clients requirements and build a unique creation. An additional limitation was that neither the floor nor the ceiling could vary from the initial. Therefore the ecologic aspenite form is an additional composition not interfering into the primal structure of the room.
The aspenite form is designed to be as well a furniture used as a bench, a wall and a bar. It also divides the interior and brings harmony to the space. Two seating loges have been separated from the whole dining area with a booking possibility.
The form was created with Rhinoceros3d according to the algorithm prepared in Grasshopper as well as the sectioning and preparing for fabrication. Before building the final construction a prototype model has been prepared what allowed planning the assembling process.
The final effect is not binding and very casual and allows visitors to relax and feel uninhibited.
Recently Między Zębami was nominated for Ale Lokale 2013 award (eng. What a Place 2013) – an award for the best restaurant design in Poland.
