The staff of this justice foundation had outgrown its old offices. We served as consultants for their new property search, as well as designers of the midtown offices they chose. The sprawling site has commanding views of Central Park and the long axis up Broadway. To its bland interior, however, we brought downtown chic. Stripping away tired finishes, we exposed concrete floors and spiral ducts. The final look is starkly industrial. But our vibrant walls and furnishings uplift the spaces. Glass partitions ensure every work space gets daylight and city views. And the large “living room” works equally well for casual meetings, receptions, or seated presentations.
