With its unique mix of ten bungalow homes and thirty semi-detached units, Michael’s Residences is a premium development set in the heart of the lush natural greenery that extends from the nearby Dairy Farm Nature Park. Wholly designed and developed by ONG&ONG, this splendidly luxuriant residence is the result of a successful collaboration achieving a collective goal, which was to offer the sophisticating consumer public a fresh residential concept.
Minimal bounding and demarcation allows the individual gardens fluidity, converging to form a lush communal green space, connecting the entire development. Balancing the boldness of the communal garden are subtle features that delineate spaces within the Michael’s grounds. From boundary cues in the form of postboxes and concealed security gates, to understated shifts in material that distinguish different areas within the development.
The Michaels’ development also considers aspects of sustainable, tropical living – a philosophy that ONG&ONG champions. Cross-ventilation design principles are embodied into the spatial layout, with generous overhangs and moveable screens introduced to shield homes the elements.
