Our proposal for this facade in the Miami Design District is a contemporary nod to the robust local art deco facades. The facade is made up of a buildup of extruded layers to create a dynamic yet distinctive storefront. The extruded layers project at the top of the facade to create sun-shading and awning for entry doors, while the double height glazing allows for expansive retail visibility.
The Miami Design District is a new neighborhood destination dedicated to innovative fashion, design, architecture and dining experiences. The Miami Design District is owned by Miami Design District Associates, a partnership between Dacra, founded and owned by Craig Robins, and L Real Estate, a global real estate development and investment fund, founded and owned by the Group Arnault LVMH. The Miami Design District embodies a singular dedication to the unity of design, fashion, art and architecture, and a commitment to encourage a neighborhood comprised of creative experiences.
