The Metroplex Cneter is a new 740-bed, off campus student housing complex for Binghamton University under development in Vestal, NY. This is a design-build project in cooridnation with the Newman Development Group and the estimated schedule or occupancy is the summer of 2016.
The contemporary "city block" design will consist of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units. The facility will feature an abundance of amenities such as lounges, multi-media rooms, fitness and yoga areas, outdoor terrace, two enclosed courtyards, tanning facility, golf simulators, and more.
Delta provided architectural design and space planning, as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection desgin services for this project. The architectural scope of work included full architectural product specifications, overall code review, life safety plans for each level of the building, floor plans, and elevations.
In addition to architectural and engineering design services, Delta will provide Construction Administration services to support the on-site construction schedule.
