Ground pavilion of the metro station "Klenoviy bulvar 2" has a semi-transparent structure with alternating stained-glass windows and aluminum panels that repeat centennial trees’ trunks’ silhouettes inside and out and make pavilion a "Kolomenskoye" park’s continuation.
Due to the color palette called "chameleon" (Rockpanel Chameleon/ALCOTEC Chameleon collection – Tropical Sunrise), the pavilion illusorily plays with new colors every day, depending on season, weather and day time. At night, when the lights are turned on inside the pavilion, plastics’ advantage works by stained-glass windows.
Taking into account the proximity of the metro to "Kolomenskoye" Park and its Museum-reserve, the station "Klenoviy bulvar 2" turns into a brand new park alley.
Central gallery’s columns imitate maple trees that differ in their spherical crowns. Some of them are surrounded by benches that allow passengers to feel as if they are sitting in a park under a tree.
The ceiling based on "chameleon" color palette (Rockpanel Chameleon/ALCOTEC Chameleon collection-Tropical Sunrise), smoothly shimmering depending on passenger’s location at the station – from bright yellow to scarlet leaves’ color, allows us to achieve a walk-among-maples’ feeling.
Walls’ plastics along the platform symbolize trees, and, thanks to mirrors in the recesses, the walls also reflect the central platform with passengers. It makes an effect like other park alleys pass through trees.
The platform’s floor resembles park paving, and floor lamps feel like fallen autumn leaves.
