Originally designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, Merriweather Post Pavilion is one of the highest rated amphitheaters in the United States. Phase 1 included newly constructed restrooms and concessions stands, and was fully open for the 2016 season. The Phase 2 renovations included demolishing the stage and back of house areas and rebuilding them to evoke a modern feel and entice new bands to perform. As this is an active concert venue, JP2 worked closely with the contractor to ensure project completion in the off-season
