Merrill Corporation, provider of secure virtual workspace services and information management, recently relocated to its new home at 1325 Avenue of Americas. Spector Group’s goal was to create a warm and inviting, yet stylish conference center that can accommodate a wide range of activity through out the day- including lounges for collaboration and relaxation, phone rooms, and a vibrant dining room and food service area.
Upon entering the space, the reception area is highlighted by a compelling custom wall and ceiling feature that beautifully frames the 24/7 customer service area. As conference rooms are occupied for hours and days on end it was important that they be warm and spacious, yet allow for a level of privacy. They feature custom glass fronts with wood veneer doors and frames, and custom walnut conference tables. Client-only private restrooms were provided to give a hospitable and private feel to the conference center.
