The principle of the design was to provide a house which relates well to its context, and makes the most of the small, steep site. The building has been designed to sensitively address its corner location whilst maximising the available ocean views. The house is spread out over 5 floor levels, all connected by a central circulation core consisting of a stair and lift. The house subtly integrates into the surrounding public domain.
