When a large federal tenant moved out, the dated 1980’s-era office building became almost entirely empty. The owner seized the opportunity to entice high-end tenants and challenged VLK to design a world-class space, with upgrades to the two primary lobbies and building core spaces at each level. In the refreshed design, a linear wood grille ceiling with multiple custom stains forms a multi-faceted ceiling feature that zig zags through the length of each double volume space.
