As architecture moves through the 21st century,
the role of plans and sections continues to evolve, as ideas of mass production
and efficiency call for more convenient ways of communicating design. The premise behind the temporary
research center is to create an efficient way for research scientists to
assemble an igloo for on-site research in low climates. In designing utilizes a wire mesh that
is cut with temples, and the residual snow freezes over to create an igloo to
be used as a temporary research center with a sleeping chamber and testing
facility.
