The project is located in a scenic place in Shandong with river valley forests, springs and streams, Under the concept of respecting nature and minimal involvement in the site, Thoughts Garden is built with a set of pavilions which layout following the practice of Chinese landscape painting. Prioritizing the nature and forest into first place, the plan layout much more scattered only to focus on buildings and installations. their form of light steel structure without disturbing the nature conveying the poetic thoughts in Tang Dynasty, returns to natural and distant aesthetic style.
Thought garden takes "lightness" as construction posture, completing the lines by steel. Pavilions and installations are connected through corridors and footpaths from different height to realize the walking of different heights of forests, tea fields and tree tops, creating a sense of lofty interest and emptiness. In the “Theater Outside Things", the view stands in the forest are implicit and natural, while the openness tea room stage offering an open-minded feeling; "Xiaoyao Pavilion" conveys elegance and lightness; “Transcendent Pavilion" is a combination of vigorous and broad-minded. People experience the closest contact with nature while walking in between the garden.
