For This project we were challenged to design a flagship store for a fashion designer in the Meat Packing District NYC. The designer chosen was Dries Van Noten. Along with retail space this store was to house a private office, studio/production space and a private retail space for buyers and high end clientele to shop. We were asked to take the core design techniques learned in project one and use those as a lens to both analyze the designers brand and in the design of our own building. For the analysis of Dries Van Noten we focused on three specific collections. Spring 2008, 2009, and 2010.
