The building, located at Şehit Asım Street no. 58 and 58A in Türkali Neighborhood, Beşiktaş District, Istanbul Province, is situated on map section 29, block 1635, parcel 64. It consists of a basement level partially above the street level, a ground floor, and two upper floors. The building entrance is accessed from the basement level. The building was registered as a cultural asset to be preserved by the decision of the Istanbul No. 3 Council for the Conservation of Cultural and Natural Assets dated 07.12.1989.
Construction Date: Estimated to be from the early 20th century. It appears on the 1922 cadastral plans of Beşiktaş.
Building Materials: In its current state, all walls appear to be made of load-bearing brick masonry. Some of the floors are timber, some are volta floors, and some appear to be concrete supported by steel joists (putrel). The floor finishes in the circulation halls are karosiman tiles. The existing staircase starts at the basement level with cast-in-place mosaic steps supported by reinforced concrete, and continues as cast-in-place mosaic up to the top floor.
Roof: The roof is covered with Marseille-type tiles. Membrane roofing is observed in areas near the neighboring building, while onduline roofing sheets are found on the side facing the rear garden. On the street facade, the roof remains behind a parapet wall; on the garden facade, it features eaves.
