The 1891 McKinley Mansion had seen its fortunes rise and fall several times over the years, and when discovered by the design team, it was abandoned and forlorn. The design team restored it to its former grandeur and made it their offices. The spaces featured bright colors that were reminiscent of Victorian times, but spirited in their interpretation. The 12,000sf main building and carriage house was originally designed to house a prominent Denver family and their live in staff, who appeared via a servants staircase and service corridor. The restored mansion provided distinctive office and studio space for the design team who ushered the mansion into a new century.
