Located in the Seagram Building in New York City, the new headquarters of Mazama Capital Management is their second office in this land-marked building that TPD has designed for this Oregon-based investment company. Blending the company’s origins in Oregon with their desire for a sophisticated and serene corporate environment, natural woods, organic textures, rich materials and a warm color palette were introduced. The design approach respects and preserves the historic integrity of the Seagram Building, an icon of mid-century modern architecture. The newly designed interiors emphasize the functionalist aesthetic, the open plan, natural light, clean lines and richness of material.
