ELM provided architectural building design, landscape architecture and master planning services for Mayo Clinic’s first patient care facility away from the hospital campus in two decades. This LEED-certified, state-of-the-art primary care facility supports the highest level of patient care and service, while also emphasizing the importance of green design.
The first phase of the project consisted of a two-story, 40,000-square-foot Primary Care facility offering exam rooms and laboratory services, together with physician offices, administrative support, and classrooms. The site plan and building design also provide options for future expansion as the need arises. Throughout the world, the Mayo Clinic is recognized as the finest provider of healthcare, research, and education. Jacksonville, Fla., is one of only three major Mayo Clinic campuses, together with Rochester, Minn., and Scottsdale, Ariz.
