The goal of this project was to study a given material and produce a system of connections that included no other substance except the original material. After thorough studies of the properties and limitations of aluminum can tabs, I developed a connection methodology that exhibited a wide range of possibilities. Using one basic link type between each tab and altering its orientation and direction, I was able to generate a multitude of surfaces and directional movements.
