The Hammond Clinic was initially constructed in the 1960’s with most recent facility renovations in the early 1980’s. In 2006, DO worked with the physician-owned clinic to develop a master facility improvement plan. Initial facility analysis and survey of architectural, MEP/FP, structural, and code conditions set a foundation for an inclusive functional and design planning process. The facility plan developed a multi-phased renovation of the entire five-story structure to accommodate continuous operations.
Phase One, includes renovations of the first-floor main entry and lobby, Patient Accounting, Blood Lab, Urgent Care Lobby, and Pharmacy areas as well as all common patient corridors. Phase 2 includes infill of an atrium to capture more clinical area and Imaging renovation. Subsequent Phases renovate clinical and treatment areas by floor.
