Anchored on the steep bank of the lake Massawippi as a gate towards the river, the house shows itself at the end of a passable path through a wooded space. Designed as a wooden frame sat on a concrete base, the house leaves space for the landscape in background with a covered transverse gallery, a lounge bar doubles height and a hall triples height. A plant and mineral landscape is implanted in the environment and was protected during the construction; it extends from the arrival footbridge up to the quay?A sustainable approach was brought during the realization by the structure lamibois LVL and by the recycled material. So, the exterior and interior coatings, and the furniture are made out of recycled parts. The house contains a biothermal heating.
