A series of small volumes define a retail corner along a main avenue in Bogota. Housing multiple spaces, the building brings together a cafe, bakery, restaurant and retail space. By using the preexisting zoning volumes, the scale of the large lot is minimized to resonate with the surrounding residential context. Triangular cutouts open the facade to better connect at side-walk level while revealing life within. A large garden patio is preserved to help connect public spaces with food production areas in the rear.
