Marlton Manor, built ca. 1924, is a steel frame building with concrete walls and wood floors. It includes a ground floor housing shared common areas and retail tenant spaces, plus five residential floors with thirty apartments each (single rooms and one bedrooms). The building is a U-shaped plan with the first floor, mezzanine and basement nearly covering the corner lot. Gelfand Partners performed infrastructure upgrades and increased resident common areas. A new skylight in the light well brings daylight to the basement, allowing for a new community kitchen, dining area, and lounge area. A wall closing off the mezzanine was removed, and the lobby was refurbished and expanded to house a computer lab and office space. Renovated retail space contributes to the neighborhood renaissance.
