The building at 126 Marine Parade converted a derelict building of six small apartments into four luxury whole-floor apartments. The building’s form was derived from careful analysis of view loss and overshadowing. The project incorporates Smart Design Studio’s continuing focus on Environmentally Sustainable Design principles including passive solar design, natural cross ventilation and the selection of efficient materials and fittings which combine with a strong sculptural form on this oceanfront headland.
