At the edge of the forest, in close proximity to the sheer rock faces of the Latemar, the new Eco-Lodge of the Maria Adventure Family Hotel & Lodge blends gently into the alpine landscape of Obereggen. Its architecture thrives on the tension between openness and shelter, between expansive views and intimate retreat - shaped by an approach that unites the experience of nature with contemporary design.
The compact building is wrapped in a vertically structured larch-wood façade - a deliberate gesture towards regional identity, authenticity, and ecological construction. Its clear silhouette does not compete with the natural surroundings but enters into a quiet dialogue with them.
Inside, a reduced formal language meets welcoming materials: wooden surfaces, untreated textiles, and carefully orchestrated lighting create an atmosphere of tranquility and comfort - for children and adults alike.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing and recessed loggias define the living experience of each unit: nature becomes part of the interior, light shapes the rhythm of the day, while the loggia offers privacy and visually extends the living space into the landscape. A composition of transparency and intimacy - designed for a life attuned to the rhythm of the mountains.
The Maria Lodge is more than just a place to stay. It is both sanctuary and space for discovery - embedded in nature, open to encounters, and ready for the adventure of family life.
