The county plan for the site specified a central avenue.
We changed the avenues geometry introducing curves and an elliptical roundabout, bordering its edges with green areas that serve as buffers between the avenue and the housing areas. Irregular walking paths substitute the sidewalks.
The curved geometry reduces traffic speed and provides green sightlines.
The central roundabout contains a two level terrace, pool and jacuzzi and children area.
Seven housing clusters, each one with a private internal green.
Individual facades present subtle variations.
Mature tres were preserved or relocated.
On the streets patches of local river stone provide visual contrast with the concrete and the texture change serves as a traffic calming device.
The circular sales office is located at the entrance and is part of the sculptural entrance motif. later it will serve as a community center.
