When Toronto-based Manulife Financial acquired John Hancock Financial Services, they asked Margulies Perruzzi Architects to design an office space that supports the goals of the merger, and the expanding business, while reflecting sophistication and professionalism.
For the project, Margulies Perruzzi Architects designed more than 102,000 sf of office space in a former light manufacturing/warehouse building. The space houses 450 staff members and includes an office area, a conference training area, fitness facilities and a cafeteria that doubles as a disaster recovery center.
