A Lodge style residence constructed in a bush setting for an extended family to be used as a holiday retreat. The primary material in both construction and cladding of the residence is unpainted galvanised steel. The steel clearly articulates the structure and unashamedly shows connections and fabrication as part of the architectural language of the building. While recalling the sheds which form part of the Australian bush landscape, the materials have been orchestrated into clear modernist forms that stretch across the escarpment like a framed glass box.
