Manhattan Small Buisiness Center

The Washington Heights Business Improvement District has obtained funding to create a Small Business Resource Center whose mission will be to provide professional assistance to small business entrepreneurs as they start and expand their business. This project will reuse and expand an existing building on West 183rd street to accommodate this innovative program. The facility will include office and meeting spaces. The building will be expanded on the ground floor to the rear lot line to provide a courtyard and additional conference rooms, which can function as separate spaces or together for larger events. A "glass box" addition is planned for the roof to provide additional conference spaces, take advantage of the breathtaking views and become a beacon of improvement and change in the neighborhood.
