The award-winning proposal for this educational centre was developed in two different phases. The first and main phase of the complex features 24 classrooms for Primary Education, 16 for Secondary School, 4 for Baccalaureate and indoor and outdoor sports facilities. After completion, the second phase included 24 classrooms for Pre-school.
Environmental features were key in the contest proposal, being the green roof its main icon. Volumen conception, orientation, n
atural lighting, optimal HVAC systems and vegetation were all designed for an easier and cheaper indoor environment conditioning and learning experience enhancement.
