air inflated theatre designed for the cultural olympics in Greece
“the first dionysian festivals were general community activity that moved about and required no permanent building.”
like Dionysus the twice-born, the theatre appears as a cycle, a temporal collective meeting inherent to social man.
this thought of transformation is idealised as a sudden object whose matter is contained air, and a membrane that shapes it.
the ambition is to create an ephemeral structure where the constructed and site, interior and exterior, surface and core are perceptive in equal, conceiving a new gathering place in any everyday site.
