The Main Street Townhouse Hotel is a new hybrid hotel concept for Niagara Falls which utilizes the traditional townhouse or row house typology to offer high-occupancy multi-floor rooms aimed at providing unique and affordable self-catering accommodations for large families and group stays. The typical 4m wide townhouse module consists of an upper 3-level unit, and lower 2-level unit, each with kitchenette, lounge/seating area, and multiple bedrooms.
The first phase will feature a block of six uniform town house modules, for a total of 12 individual hotel units with surface parking for 12 cars located on a trapezoidal site bordered by Main Street and Allendale Ave. The 4-story building will be clad in grey fibre-cement rain-screen cladding, and will feature a staggered punched-window pattern on the two primary street elevations. The typical townhouse entries are marked by brightly colored and recessed bays at grade, and provide access to the upper and lower unit of each townhouse. The ground floor of each townhouse unit will be fully accessible.
The second phase will feature 16-18 additional town house modules, surface parking for 55 cars and a loading bay on an adjacent site immediately south of phase 1.
