This Springfield Clinic expansion project encompasses a four-story medical office building that connects to the existing clinic facility via a gateway bridge structure spanning the street below. The new facility houses approximately 40 physicians in numerous medical specialties. The multi-specialty clinic supports the growth of a physician-owned organization that has seen the existing clinic renovated three times since it was built in 1952. Expansion of the main campus included renovations to the first and second floors. Renovations were phased to accommodate expansion of the clinic’s existing ambulatory treatment surgery center while the Prompt Care, Radiology and Oncology Infusion units were expanded and improved. Beyond the progressive care being provided within the facility, the project enhances the urban landscape. Improved lighting and safety help the Springfield Clinic campus to serve as a unique gateway to downtown Springfield.
