The project is situated in Noisy-le-Grand, in the district "Maille Horizon Nord". The plot consists of one entity of a surface of 6 526 m ² divided into 2 equal parts which will have to welcome a program of collective housing. The topography of the site offers important slopes. The setting of the project is defined by this topography and asks for a complex leveling. There is a difference of about 10 meters between the highest point and the lowest point of the terrain. The program for the whole site will consist of about 220 collective housing, the total surface of which is estimated at 13 050 m ², on the top of a shared parking lot. The project allows a mix of populations and ways of living. Within the same plot are juxtaposed the collective housing, the individual housing and the intermediate housing, which incites to brew diverse populations, families, students, elderly. The project introduces some new type of housing called SOHO - workshops, having a workspace in ground floor on the street, and a living space on the first floor as a duplex. Our project is organized as a closed island, all the buildings are aligned on the limit of the property. The base contains the underground parking lot and the housing program on three levels in the west wing and on two levels in the eastern wing, thus freeing the central area of full earth natural garden. The base, which follows the terrains’ shape, is surmounted by high limited emergences which allow quality views and sunlight. The emergences are clearly recognizable and mark the main entrances halls of the collective housing. The project offers heights, orientations and fragmentated volumes which allow quality of inside and outer spaces living, clear views lots of sunlight. Most of the housing faces east-west and south directions. The multiple orientation of each flat, is always favored.
